“As we enter our fourth year of VentureClash, we continue to meet with incredible companies from around the globe that are looking to land and expand in the United States,” said Matt McCooe, chief executive officer at Connecticut Innovations. “We look forward to spending more time with our semifinalists when they join us in Connecticut in late July. We’ve met many of the founders already, and we can’t wait to showcase the finalists in October at Yale. Having the partnership with so many large corporations from around the state, such as Stanley, Black & Decker, AIG, Travelers and Webster Bank, to name just a few, has made VentureClash into a banner event for Connecticut.”
VentureClash finalists will be notified on September 6, 2019, following judging from an outside panel of industry leaders and subject matter experts. The finals event, which will feature 10 finalists, will be on Thursday, October 17, at the Yale West Campus in Orange, Connecticut.
